4209, 40th st, Delta BC
Wedding and reception will take place on our family farm!
31 August 2025
03.30 PM - Onwards
The ceremony will begin promptly at 3:30 PM. Please arrive early to grab a drink and get comfortably seated—we don’t want you to miss a moment!

Know Before you go
Here are some basic pieces of information that we would like you to know. If you have any further questions, please feel free to reach out directly to Amir or Shauna.
We kindly invite guests to embrace a black and white dress code.
Gentlemen, any black and white combination is welcome.
Ladies, we’d love to see predominantly black attire.
That said, please don’t stress—this isn’t mandatory, just the look and feel we’re going for.
Our wedding is taking place on a farm, so we strongly recommend avoiding stilettos or thin heels. Think wedges, block heels, or flats—your feet will thank you.
While we’ll be celebrating under a tent, the sides will be open and the event will take place outdoors. Even in the warmer months, the evenings can get chilly—especially if it’s breezy. We recommend bringing a light sweater, jacket, or wrap to stay comfortable as the night goes on.
It is strongly encouraged to take an Uber, Lyft, or taxi to the venue, especially if you plan on enjoying a few drinks.
If you do choose to drive, please consider carpooling with others in your area to help us minimize the number of vehicles, as parking is limited on the property.
When you RSVP, kindly coordinate with others in your group and let us know how many cars you’ll be bringing. This will help us plan accordingly for valet and parking.
The ceremony will begin promptly at 3:30, so we kindly ask that you arrive a little early to get settled. We’d hate for you to miss the best part!
Jewish Wedding Traditions
We’re so excited to share this special day with you—and to celebrate through our meaningful Jewish traditions. Here are a few moments you can expect during the day:
The Ketubah Signing
A ceremony where we will sign traditional Jewish marriage contract, symbolizing our commitment to each other.
The Chuppah
The wedding ceremony will take place under a chuppah, a canopy that represents our future home together. It’s open on all sides to symbolize hospitality.
The Circling
At the beginning of the ceremony, both partners will circle the other, a symbolic act representing the creation of a sacred space together.
Sheva Brachot (Seven Blessings)
Seven blessings are a beautiful and ancient part of Jewish history. These are recited during the ceremony, offering spiritual and communal support for our new life together. Even if this tradition is new to you, we invite you to listen, feel the intention behind the words, and celebrate with us in this sacred moment.
Breaking the Glass
At the conclusion of the ceremony, you’ll see Amir break a glass beneath his foot—one of the most iconic and meaningful traditions in a Jewish wedding.
While this moment is joyous, it also carries deep symbolism. It serves as a reminder of the destruction of the Holy Temple in Jerusalem and acknowledges that even in our most joyful moments, we remember the brokenness in the world.
So get ready to cheer as the glass is broken—it’s the signal that the celebration has officially begun!
Don’t forget to yell “Mazel Tov!”
Hora & Dancing
Be ready to celebrate! After dinner, we’ll kick off the dancing—get ready for the Hora (think Wedding Crashers) and some lively lifting of the couple in chairs!
We’re so happy to have you join us—whether you’ve seen these traditions before or are experiencing them for the first time.
